If you're buying a new insurance policy by Direct Debit through Darwin Insurance, we will ask you to pay an initial deposit at the point you purchase.
No deposit will be taken if you are an existing customer and your policy is up for renewal.
If your policy started before the 18th June 2026, your credit provider is Close Brothers Premium Finance.
If your policy starts on or after 18th June 2026, your credit provider is PremFina Ltd.
The relevant finance provider will send out a payment schedule when they issue your welcome letter, and this will let you know when your payments are due and how much they are.
