No. As of the 2nd of August 2021, the rules have changed for UK drivers taking their cars to Europe, and you’ll no longer need a Green Card to be able to drive your car in any of the following countries:
- the EU (including Ireland)
- Andorra
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Iceland
- Liechtenstein
- Montenegro
- Norway
- Serbia
- Switzerland
For any other country not listed above, we will not be able to provide you with any cover whilst driving in that country and you will need to obtain separate insurance cover elsewhere.
