I can’t send in my documents – what do I do?

Simply use your Online Account to upload a scan or copy of your driver documents. If you can’t send in your documents due to a technical issue, please contact us on 01733 300017 (open Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm, Saturday 9am – 5pm, 10am – 4pm Sundays and Bank Holidays) so that we can look into the issue and advise you on what to do next.

If you don’t have the documents you need to send in, you can contact us for further advice. In some cases, such as NCD proof, you may need to request this from your previous insurer. Make sure that any scans or copies you send to us clearly display all this information, or we may not be able to accept it.

Your NCD must be from a valid insurer (UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland) and must not be older than 2 years. Your NCD must be expressed in number of years and earned on a privately owned car. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept NCDs earned on company cars.

Please note that your NCD can only be used on one policy at any one time.

It is your responsibility to provide us with proof of NCD.

Please provide your current renewal notice or a letter on headed paper from your previous insurer or broker confirming your NCD and include the following details:

  • Previous insurer's name
  • Previous insurer's policy number
  • Your name
  • Policy expiry date
  • Number of years NCD
