If I am buying a new car – how do I transfer my existing policy over to the new car?

If you're buying a new car and need to make a change to your policy, you can do so via the 'My Policy' portal or call Darwin Customer Services who will be happy to deal with your request. There may be a difference in price, terms and/or conditions for the new car. 

Please Note: Effective from 16th June 2025, a £27 admin fee will apply if changes are made through our contact centre, however a reduced fee of £15 will apply if the changes are made online. 

If your policy began prior to 16th June 2025, you will not be affected by this change until your next renewal.
